Friday, August 5, Roger, Rachel and I drove down to visit Adam and Kylee in Wasco, California which is just outside of Bakersfield. Adam has been an intern working at South Valley Farms. It is an almond orchard.
This is their cute little one bedroom apartment. At least the left half is theirs.

After spending a few days touring around the area, we decided to get a little golf in.
Rachel's first time golfing. She enjoyed her golf cart. Maybe a little too much!

After golfing we all headed for Las Vegas to check out the sites and we spent a little time laying around the hotel pool. It was great fun. The next day we headed home to Idaho. Kylee came with us and Adam headed back to Wasco. He will come home after the almond harvest is finished in early October.
